Our 1805 Aftershave Balm is specially formulated to deliver maximum post-shave benefits. Rich in restorative ingredients such as aloe vera extract, it is designed to significantly reduce skin irritation and the inflammation related to razor burn.

Soothing and calming, the balm is light on the skin, easily absorbed and designed to naturally replenish and rehydrate the skin after shaving. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and supple with a soft, shine-free finish.

Fresh and oceanic, 1805 opens with a melody of refreshing citrus notes, which pleasingly accord with a floral heart of lily and jasmine. The inspiration for this exciting blend was derived from an original formulation dating back to the late 1850s, and was specially blended for Viscount Palmerston, one of Queen Victoria’s Prime Ministers. This blend was to inspire Truefitt’s modern fragrance, 1805. The recipe for “Palmerston Bouquet” lay unused for over a century and only in 1998 was it brought back to be reformulated and reorchestrated. 1805 commemorates the year in which William Francis Truefitt opened his salon doors for the first time
